Mireya Garcia

Mireya Garcia 27 year old artist residing in Greensboro NC, and is a graduate of the University of NC Greensboro with a BFA in Ceramics . Predominantly focusing on Soft sculptures, designer toy customs, watercolor portraits, and sculpting, used both in the idea of fine art and simply as objects of joy and stories of life. Incorporating the use different mediums with soft sculptures: such as old wool sweaters, coats and other past objects of comfort to help convey the importance of simple joy beyond the stresses of everyday life.
